How to style your sweatpants?
Sweatpants almost had a renaissance during the corona period, and even though that time hopefully is over, sweatpants are still popular and probably a product that most people can't live without. If you plan on wearing sweatpants in public, it requires that they are new and nice-looking. That means the pair you've worn out during lockdown should be replaced. To get it right, you should consider the color, material composition, and shape. We have selected some of our favorites from this season and show you how to style them.
The Sunday outfit
Sweatpants are one of the most comfortable things there is and the best to wear on weekends on the couch or in the evening after a long workday. Therefore, the first sweatpants we have chosen to highlight are from the brand C.P. Company. with a matching top. These are probably the sweatpants you'll use the most, so we have chosen a basic set of high quality that you can also match with other things in your wardrobe.
Sweatpants for nicer occasions
Yes, you heard that right, sweatpants for nicer occasions. This does not mean that you can wear sweatpants to the upcoming dinner or party, but rather on a long weekend walk. Make sure to find a pair of neutral sweatpants without too much branding and make a little extra effort with the tops you wear. It is, in fact, the choice of tops that allows you to get away with wearing sweatpants in places other than the couch at home. For this outfit, we have chosen a simple pair of sweatpants from BLS and styled them with a shirt from Les Deux, a cream-colored knit from NN07 and a transitional jacket from Barbour.
A workout outfit with style
