The collaboration is about mixing natural materials and traditional craftsmanship with a modern technology that suits the requirements of an outdoor performance in the 21st century. Clarks is a modern brand, but having been founded in 1825, its history is defined by traditional materials and iconic shapes. This updated version of Clarks footwear combined with CP The company's well-established dedication to functional menswear and fabric innovation means it's a capsule collection of future-proof classics. The Desert Trek Remastered builds on the classic Clarks Originals style, but is reimagined, reinforced and modernized by CP Company through an upgraded upper design with a seamless rubberized toe cap and a 3D molded heel counter that has been injected with TPU. The original Trek 1971 stitch down construction has been upgraded with a full vegetable leather running board for a comfort-focused premium touch. The molded heel counter features the iconic Clark's Trek-Man logo on one shoe and CP Company Sails on the other. While the sole unit is upgraded with Vibram, the upper is made with a premium lapel suede with a light oiled touch from an Italian tannery. Made in Portugal, the shoes feature cotton laces with dipped and coated aiglets and additional leather laces, plus three laces, branded and coated.
